Managing My Life Publishing and Training Inc. is the company that publishes the Managing My Life wellness and productivity programs developed by several professionals who work in the fields of health, wellness, productivity, retirement planning, parenting, education, financial management and career planning.
Our Mission

“We will help individuals improve the quality of their lives and help them become higher productive achievers. We will do this by providing individuals and organizations with a library of proven quality wellness-oriented programs, which are user friendly, and include a variety of easy to incorporate concepts. We will also customize these programs to meet the specific needs of organization clients and will offer coaching, teleclases, web-cast services, and workshops to support the implementation of the programs as needed.”

Steven ShagrinSteven Shagrin, JD, CFP®, CRPC®, CRC®, CELP is the author of Managing My Life: Managing My Money. He is better known as "Shags", and is a practicing Financial Life PlannerTM with offices in northern California and north-eastern Ohio. He helps individuals clarify their goals and objectives, as well as increase their financial literacy and well-being. For two decades, Steven worked as a financial consultant, first with PaineWebber and then with Smith Barney, both in Ohio. He then worked for a year with a Cleveland money management firm, Logix Investment Management, as Executive Vice President. He started his company, Planning For Life, in 2003 to offer holistic life transition, life planning & retirement education programs both in person and over the internet, providing lifelong learning for adults of any age and at any life stage. Dr. Bruno Bernucci, MDDr. Bruno Bernucci, MD, completed his undergraduate studies at McGill University in Montreal Canada where he initially graduated with Great Honors  from the Department of Biochemistry. His undergraduate activities included conducting fundamental research in the area of connective tissue and musculo-skeletal disorders at the Shriner’s Hospital  in Montreal.

He subsequently graduated in 1986, from medical school at McGill University and remained involved in the field of general/family medicine. His early career included serving in a supervisory and teaching role in the emergency room of the Montreal General Hospital as well as acting as Chief of Emergency at Santa Cabrini Hospital, a community hospital in the Montreal area.

Dr. Bernucci presently runs a busy general medicine practice. His interests lie in continuing medical education. He is frequently called upon to advise on elaborating educational programs for fellow physicians and as a conference lecturer to other medical doctors. He also speaks frequently to large group of patients and the general public on numerous topics including dementia, depression, diabetes and heart health.   He is one of the Co-Authors of Managing My Life: Managing My Health.
 

Linda Lewis-DalyLinda Lewis-Daly is an inspired Workplace Wellness Consultant who has significantly advanced individual, team and organizational health over 18 years of best in class program development and health promotion.

Her dedication to the field of wellness extends to a teaching and program advisory position at Centennial College in the Workplace Wellness and Health Promotion program. Wellness programs by Linda have been featured in the media and published in a business text given their innovation and impact.

In her capacity as National Wellness Manager, Linda created and significantly grew the award-winning wellness program at TELUS Mobility, Canada’s leading wireless telecommunications provider.  Given her passion and track record, Linda was also selected to act as a volunteer spokesperson for the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada.  She is one of the Co-Authors of Managing My Life: Managing My Health.

 

Sheryl DawsonSheryl Dawson has been a Management and Organizational Consultant to Fortune 100 companies for approximately 30 years.  Her clients have included John Hancock, Sun Life of Canada, Nynex, Chase Manhattan Bank, IBM Global, Blue Cross Blue Shield of NC, Digital Equipment Corporation, Coopers and Lybrand, Pfizer and many others.

In the early 1990's Ms. Dawson launched a highly successful medical research and information service used by both consumers and medical professionals.  The service was spotlighted in U.S. News and World Report, Shape magazine, and Weight Watchers magazine. 

Sheryl Dawson is currently on-track to complete her PhD in Clinical Psychology in 2010 and was Admitted in 2006 as a scholar to the Round Table Group, considered "the Mercedes Benz of think tanks" . Ms. Dawson provides Expert Witness Services to law firms nationwide.  She is one of the Co-Authors of Managing My Life: Managing My Health.

 

Meg Zuccaro, M.A. is an educator and researcher at Simon Fraser University.  She is currently completing her Ph.D. in the Faculty of Education in Curriculum Theory and Implementation.  Her teaching and research interests focus on exploring the listening body as a site of deep wisdom bringing attention to the sacred art of listening as a pathway for connection, healing, and social change.   Her work has been presented at educational conferences and appears in various educational journals and publications.

Meg brings her passion for listening to her teaching, students and research as well as into the community.  Working with various community organizations much of her time has been dedicated to supporting youth and young adults.  Through a deep concern for the care of others she opened her home to teen-agers as a gathering place for conversation and listening.  She designs and conducts workshops on the practice of listening, dialogue and social consciousness.  Meg has been involved with The Compassionate Listening Project, a non-profit organization that teaches heart-based skills for peace building and reconciliation since 2002. 

Meg and her husband have been married for 29 years and enjoy the company of their three grown children.  She is one of the co-authors of Managing My Life: The Art of Joyful Parenting.

 

Michelle MacIntosh, MSW, completed her undergraduate studies in 1995 and began her career in social work counseling disadvantaged youth at a community level. Michelle continued her studies and graduated with a Masters in Social Work from the University of Toronto in 1999 and worked in child protection with families in crisis.

Michelle’s career took an exciting, new direction developing and facilitating corporate programs focusing on leadership, wellness and personal responsibility.  She has taught managerial communication courses at Brock University and has traveled across Canada to deliver workshops and keynote addresses at numerous professional conferences.

Since 2000, Michelle has a maintained a busy private practice, doing therapy and life coaching for teens, individuals and corporate leaders.

Michelle lives with her three children and partner.  They are a successfully blended family and work hard at supporting, understanding and loving one another. She is one of the co-authors of Managing My Life: The Art of Joyful Parenting.
